Arlen Capital acts primarily as a principal and is a source of debt and equity capital for a variety of real estate-based transactions.

Since its inception in 1989, Arlen Capital  has: (i) launched and funded tender offers on public and private real estate companies; (ii) purchased and sold mortgages underlying troubled assets; (iii) purchased and foreclosed on mortgages as a strategy to acquire properties; (iv) funded development transactions; (v) funded and actively managed redevelopment of a major hotel; and (vi) acquired, funded and entitled raw land totaling in excess of 1500 single and multifamily units in Southern California.  
 
Arlen Capital understands the need to act quickly and decisively in the investment process.  We take an active role in structuring, negotiating, underwriting and closing investments.  In addition to an investment of capital, we believe that our principals' extensive capital markets financial and real estate advisory expertise can make a significant contribution to our portfolio companies' prospects.  We will invest as either a sole investor or co-investor, depending upon the size and risk of the investment opportunity.
